LCIS Student Accepted to Prestigious Juilliard Summer Programme
Lyford Cay International School (LCIS) student Katelyn Beukes has been accepted into the prestigious Summer Dance Intensive hosted by the Juilliard School.
LCIS Hosts 3rd Annual Day of Service in Memory of Dr David Mindorff
Lyford Cay International School (LCIS) invited members of its community to take part in a special Day of Service on Saturday, 21 March, held in memory of the school’s former Principal, Dr David Mindorff.
Organised by GGYA Coordinator & Chair of Humanities Mr Joshua Purcell, the event took place across both LCIS campuses and brought together students, families, alumni, and friends of the school to participate in meaningful volunteer projects. Activities included working in the school gardens and along the nature trail, continuing a tradition of service that reflects Dr Mindorff’s deep commitment to community engagement and environmental stewardship.
US Chargé d'Affaires Visits Lyford Cay International School
Newly appointed Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Nassau, Ms Kimberly Furnish, recently visited Lyford Cay International School for an introductory meeting and tour.
During her visit to the school, Chargé Furnish met with new Head of School, Mr Audrius Barzdukas, and the school’s leadership team to discuss recent developments and the school’s longstanding relationship with US Embassy in Nassau.
