Congratulations to the Cayman International School boys’ team and the Cedar International School girls’ team for winning their respective championship finals! This year’s championship trophy – renamed The Craig Massey Trophy – honours the lasting impact former Athletic Director Craig Massey has made on our school and our football community. As the founder of the KPMG Football Fest and a key figure in the development of football at LCIS, Coach Massey has helped establish a culture of teamwork, enthusiasm and sporting excellence. This championship trophy is awarded to the team that demonstrates the values Coach Massey championed – unity, determination, fair play, and a collective commitment to performing at their best. The Craig Massey Trophy stands as a reminder of the tradition he started, the opportunities he created, and the strong football community he helped build.

Tournament Organiser and Chair of the PE Department Annisa Albury remarked, “The 2025 KPMG Football Fest was a tremendous success and is one of my favourite events that our school hosts. Bringing together students of all ages and different cultures, it celebrates teamwork, school spirit, and community in a way that truly embodies our school's core values. The event reflects the power of international education, empowers students to challenge themselves and grow, and provides transformative experiences that build confidence, resilience, and lasting memories. We were thrilled with the positive energy, skill and sportsmanship displayed by all participants, and we are deeply grateful to our families, staff, and community partners whose support makes this festival possible. The KPMG Football Fest continues to inspire and unite our school community, leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved.”

The KPMG Football Fest is one example of LCIS’s commitment to providing students with high-quality athletic experiences and transformative opportunities to become internationally-minded, global citizens. It highlights the school's ability to serve as a hub of athletic excellence in The Bahamas.

What an incredible weekend of fun, friendship, and football!
